Here are a couple of my favorites:
Best family beach- 17th street, Lifeguard tower, boogie board rentals, snack shack, pay parking, etc.
Dog Beach- River Mouth- South of 29th Street.
Taco shop- Robertos on Carmel Valley Rd. Carne Asada Burrito or 3 rolled tacos with guac.
Nice restaurant- Jakes at 17th Street. on the beach.
Happy hour/casual beach restaurant- Poseidon, at 17th Street. on the beach.
Breakfast-
Americana Cafe, 15th Street and 101.
Stratford Square, 13th and Stratford.
Pizza- Del Mar Pizza, 15th Street and 101. Caesar salad is really good too.
Elixer corner of 15th and 101. Juices, Acai bowls, etc.
